The ELL Program provides instruction in the oral communication and literacy skills of English. Developing listening comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, spelling, and nonverbal language are all objectives of the ELL program. Cultural information and academic skills are also part of the ELL program. The goal of the program is for student to achieve a level of language competency that allows them to successfully participate in their grade level mainstream classrooms.
At Brimhall our mix of students is constantly changing. As I write this we have 122 students from 25 countries. Their unique cultures and languages enrich our Brimhall family.
