“In the End… Only Kindness Matters”
(revised)
These words I’ve shared many times before,
“In the end… only kindness matters.”
I’ve come to think of them as words of truth
and have wished that everyone else did too.
Wouldn’t our world be a much better place
if kindness was given to everyone, everywhere?
Why is it so difficult for something so simple,
like kind thoughts, kind words, or kind, kind smiles?
In thinking about the words and their meaning
I’d like to change the phrase somewhat.
Yes – “In the end… Kindness does really matter,
but it’s needed at our beginnings as well.”
