STUDENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Brimhall has a student volunteer program available to students in grades 3rd-6th. Starting in mid October the students will have an opportunity to come to the Volunteer Center during their lunch recess time (30 minutes for 3rd grade and 15 minutes for 4th, 5th & 6th grade) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

In late September and early October I will visit each of the 3rd-6th grade classrooms to discuss the volunteer program. The students who were interested in volunteering will be asked to take home a Student Volunteer Registration/Permission slip to be filled and signed by both the student and their parent/guardian. These forms need to be filled out and returned to me before the student can volunteer.

During the time the students are in the Volunteer Center they will help with a variety of activities such as making posters, cutting soup labels, cutting the box tops for our "Box Tops for Education" program. The student volunteers may help with counting organizing, and other such activities that can take place in a short time frame.

We have approximately 200 student involved in the student volunteer program. Their contribution of time is very helpful in supporting many activities here at Brimhall.
