Board Credits

The purpose of School Board Credits is to identify and encourage participation in professional development opportunities that are aligned to District and school goals, promote best practices in professional development, and that will result in increased student academic achievement.

If you are interested in pursuing a Board Credit opportunity, you may review the linked listing of courses approved for Board Credit to identify coursework that might be applicable to your professional development plan.

If you have identified a professional development opportunity that is not approved for Board Credit, but which you feel might be appropriate, you are encouraged to contact Michael Sheeks prior to pursuing the training.  Opportunities should meet the criteria above and be trainings for which staff are not otherwise compensated.

For details about the Board Credit Policy, obtaining your Board Credit Certificate for approved course work, proposing a course for Board Credit, or goals and standards related to course approval, please follow the links below.
