Mission Statement
We exist to provide students with healthy meals that will encourage learning and growth to adulthood. We are committed to creating a program that is financially responsible, teaches good nutrition, and supports students in reaching their full potential.
Nutritional Statement
- We promise to provide a variety of wholesome foods that students want and that also fit into the USDA recommended nutrient guidelines.
- Menus are created with increased natural fiber from fruit and whole grains, decreased saturated fat, trans fatty acids and nitrates, added sugars. Only non fat milk and low fat dairy products are made available to students and staff.
- Organic meats, fruits and vegetables are served wherever possible based on availability and cost.

Kindergarten Milk Program
The kindergarten milk program provides one pint milk daily to all students attending kindergarten at no charge. Please encourage your child/children to participate.
How do I know my student’s food is safe?
Milk Allergy and Intolerance Guidelines
Lactose reduced milk is available to students with a physician’s verification that the student is allergic or intolerant. Please submit to Susan Richardson, R.D.
Allergies and Special Dietary Needs
All students who have special dietary needs must have the “Special Diet Statement for Disability” or “Special Diet Statement for Non Disability” completed by a physician and sent to the district via your child’s school or the District Center. (Parent Letter Dietary Needs.pdf)

School Menus and Nutritional Analysis - Offer vs. Serve Program / Nutrition & Wellness Guidelines
Emmett Williams Nutrition Services is once again offering the fresh fruit and vegetable salad bar for students and staff! Students may choose from two hot/cold entrees or the salad bar. The salad bar is a complete lunch which includes diced chicken, ham, eggs or hummus, whole grain roll, garlic toast, or bread stick, nonfat milk, and unlimited fruits and vegetables.
