Vocal Music Concerts
Both vocal and instrumental music classes are
taught by music specialists.
Vocal music emphasizes singing and a wide range of other activities
to introduce students to the wonderful world of music and note reading.
A variety of performances are given throughout the year. As an introduction
to instrumental music, all fourth grade students are taught to play
the recorder.
Band (grades 5 & 6) and orchestra (grades 4, 5 & 6) are
offered through small group lessons and large group rehearsals.
Student performances include district-wide festivals and a school concert.
Band Instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, percussion
Orchestra Instruments: violin, viola, cello, string bass
